Giving up a full page of pro ALLAM/NAME CHANGE letters again on the eve of a game! I'm of the opinion they really don't want to upset AA.
I've not seen it, but it wouldn't surprise me if its actually a full page advertisement designed to look like an article of pro name change letters
It's the readers letters! I just don't feel the need on a match day to fuel it anymore and to give stupid responses like " why don't CTWD come up with the money for a buy out " I really do think the HDM and RH are scared of AA and daren't upset him.
HDM are no more than the WUMS on here. They print provocative items simply to provoke a response and keep the 'argument' live. It's amateurish journalism, if it's even journalism at all.
The Mail are probably in accord with the current majority view, it is only on social media sites such as this that the constant anti Allam bleating prevails.
It's in today's paper. Perhaps you should address your complaint to the HDM, rather than its humble readers, who are not responsible for the paper's content.
A lot of people read it and the main problem for me is that they don't seem to be 50/50 in their coverage! Today's replies are bordering on sarcastic towards CTWD and anyone else who is anti name change!
HDM readers are just another faction, split between keep City/not bothered either way/Allam can do as he likes as long as we are in premier league. The whole sorry mess will damage the club for years to come whatever the final result, just like any civil war does. I still can't believe that any football club owner is willing to divide the fans of his own club in such a way, especially for an imagined amount of money that is a fraction of what he personally takes from the club.
the tried and tested method used by despots.... divide and conquer select the enemy within (CTWD) select the enemy without (Council) break away from the international community (Hull City Tigers on website, removal of name from programmes etc) turn the population against each other (CTWD vs the Silent Majority) identify a scapegoat (CTWD) hold a mass rally (Press conference) erase history from the history books and proclaim that history is worthless (done too..) Tell the media under your control (HDM) that the Jews are poisoning the wells (CTWD again) Blame tough economic conditions on the rest of the world (FA block huge financial potential so put up ticket prices) Purges, wars, poverty, statues, marches and show trials will help you remain in power forever (admittedly I'm starting to exaggerate now..)
I see sarcasm is too much for some on here. Nice to see the standard CTWD members/supporters reaction to anything that doesn't back them 100%. Small wonder you still don't get the whole silent majority thing and why your appalling attitude is why they're less silent now. Keep dismissing them. Keep pouring your scorn on them. Best hope there isn't another poll run in the KC.
I would be extremely happy for there to be a poll with the two options - Hull City or Hull Tigers. Then it would finally be put to bed. Which option do you think would win?
For the record, CTWD would love a genuine poll of City fans, we've been asking for one for a year now and nothing has changed, we'd still love one. Make it happen Assem, what have you got to be scared of?
Do you honestly not see that the criticism of HDM is one of a lack of balance? I would also like nothing more than to see a straight, unambiguous poll. But there won't be one. I'll leave you to ponder why that might be.
