Formula 1 teams question high ticket prices - Nooooo... when did this happen? Good job the teams are on the ball picking up issues right away, I would have never noticed otherwise
So that article reports somewhere else rumouring some random Russian might race, then ends with the guy himself debunking it nearly completely? I wish I had a news site where I could get away with publishing such non-news.
I confirm that the queen will race for Caterham at some point. She has denied it but I know her type.
Was expecting Sirotkin, then I remembered he's going to jump into one of the Saubers, but it looks like only for FP1 (a shame, he should really replace Gutierrez). Yeah, I can't see that one happening either. Lotterer would be back in the car if he wasn't busy at the WEC, so why would Rusinov go? What an article
hey! I hand picked that article for you guys... Pay it some respect In other news Wehrlein has been made official Mercedes reserve driver....again I dont know who that is??
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal_Wehrlein Did well in F3 a few years back, not really sure why he's racing in DTM (I guess Mercedes don't have a feeder team in single seaters) but he's currently 7th there and took his first victory recently. The circumstances of his appointment reminds me of that American kid (Lance somebody?) that Ferrari signed up shortly after Hamilton emerged for Mclaren, don't remember anything coming of him. Given he's only 19 though it's pretty impressive.
Paul Di Resta also did well in F3. He also did well in DTM .... And he also did well in...... Well he raced in F1 for bit.
The track record of DTM stars going on to do well in F1 is not great. Features such big names as Gary Paffett, Paul "Paul The Other One" di Resta, and Christjian Albers
"I Think that lewis is wrOng in This. A poll of SIX HUNDRED AND SIX people on an F1 FORUM I go on called NOT SIX OH SIX DOT COM found that..." Something like this:
Autosport have a write-up about the Sochi circuit hosting its first race meeting last weekend. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115895
El_B's currently at +14, how many of us contributed to that? I almost feel guilty putting other comments down to boost our advertising up. Almost...
Pirelli are threatening to withhold tyres from Caterham for the Japanese GP, until payment is received. Apparently they received their tyres in Singapore much later than anyone else, over a day later and just a few hours before FP1. The report does say that Albers left the team due to the state of Caterham's finances, but that's wide of the mark. Albers' wife has been hospitalised and he left the team because of that. Really don't think we're seeing Caterham in 2015.
