Straying off topic just for a second, I see that Glenn Roeder is being linked heavily with the Cardiff job !!
That formation looks like a 3-5-2 for us with wing backs and Lawrence sat in front of Weso and Woods. The two defenseive midfielders will hopefully slow your guys up. Weso is a blue heeler, nips at everything. When is Holt going back to you? Think he's still stuck rotting at Wigan isn't he?
I thought it was for a DoF-type role, rather than day-to-day managing, or has that changed? Never, for family reasons he wants to be in that part of the world, so he'll probably happily see out his contract in Wigan reserves, then sign for Carlisle for his swansong. There's also the small matter of him not getting a game ahead of Hooper, Jerome, Grabban or Lafferty.
Glad to hear Howson is bossing the game. How we've missed him. Just need those chances to fall to Hooper.
At least Lafferty has got into goalscoring positions. Must be an element of players getting used to each other's game.
