    Same thoughts on Sterling, makes no sense. Rodgers gambled on Villa and didn't pay off dropping him.

    Interesting team tonight, Middlesborough will be really up for it. Nice to see Markovic get a start, hope he impresses, we could do with something good right now.

    I can only presume tha Rodgers felt he was replacable,and has been proved wrong.

    Echo the thoughts on Sterling,

    Makes no sense to drop him for the important game v Villa then play him in this one.

    Nice to see Rossiter though and other than that it's a pretty strong team.

    Bench is very strong considering. Only Williams who got a few pre-season games is a youngster (along with Suso).
