1 in 128 is not "one hell of a coincidence". It's nearly twice as unlikely to go to jail in Monopoly by rolling three doubles in a row (1 in 216).
What?! Why? What's your explanation for this? Chelsea and City maybe. Even Liverpool would have a better claim than this. Why would the "establishment" hate Arsenal? For blooding lots of young English talent and supplying half the England squad? For their envious financial model of investing wisely, spending within their means and keeping wage costs down compared to other top clubs? For their non Controversial manager who rarely says anything out of line and just waffles on about mental strength? For their friendly players taking part in the Rainbow laces campaign, and actually being likeable, down to earth sorts? For their history of 13 league titles and numerous trophies? What is it the "establishment" hates about Arsenal?
arsenal should be serious contenders this year with that midfield wenger failed to buy a dm and a striker season over already, chelsea are certs
Half the squad? Oxo, Wilshere, Walcott and Chambers are not half the squad. Arsenal were the forerunners of having foreign only teams - Cole was theonly English player they had, long before it was common practice.
Well Gibbs, jenkinson, wilshere, oxocube, Walcott, Welbeck, chambers are all capped with England. So that's a few defenders, a couple of midfielders and a couple of strikers that currently play for England and have had a senior cap within the last couple of years. 7 players total.
That's all you have to add, maybe I didn't mean that literally, am just saying.... I want to know his reasoning as to why the establishment hates Arsenal? Because I really don't see it.
So far: Man City (H) - Draw Dortmund (A) - Lose Aston Villa (A) - Win We now have our league cup game followed by spurs in the league. If we beat spurs we will still be on course to get a good points return from the 4 games in the OP.
Now we can add a draw against spurs. Looking at the league table and knowing how difficult it'll be away to Chelsea I'd take a draw in our next league game.
Lol, swell, our only victory so far managed to come against the mighty Aston Villa, but no no I and others are just overreacting, everything's fine, silly me, I should've known better with the standards of this club and the standards of the rose tinted brigade, that winning isn't everything, and draws actually are. Sorry guys, now I understand. I'm sure if we draw with Chelski next week the rose tinted brigade will want an open bus parade in Islington, send an email to Arsenal and see if you can make it happen.
You are sure that we will what? What are you talking about. You are really becoming unhinged. Why is it so important to you that we should all stop caring if Arsenal win and give-up on the season? Or is it just that you want us to be miserable? What is your purpose?
You say that like he wouldn't be overly impressed with a draw, a draw for him is equivalent to a win.
