Is Delph still classed as a 'youngster'? It seems bloody years ago that TWS flogged him. He honestly looked like one of those 'talented youngsters consigned to the whatever happened to them bin' until last season.
Hodgson is a ****ing joke how can he pick Blackett over Davis and other centre halves with far more experience. He has to go and I think somehow there has to be a petition started and sent down to the FA .
According to G Neville they have England scouts at every Prem League game so I put it to him how does Davies not get in the squad no reply tho.
I've seen this guy play a bit this season, not highlights - full matches - and he has been ****ing woeful in every single one. Yes he's 'raw' and he might end up being good, but you dont pick a player for national honours when he's raw. You wait until he's had enough experience to iron out said rawness. If he was in our kit he wouldnt even be considered, simple as. Another point, did Chester qualify for England? If so, maybe he shouldve waited it out.
I'm way past blood boiling and have just hit on the realization that he is a clueless puppet who is any day due a MASSIVE wake up call.
I thought he looked better in the first half against Leicester. Much better than I'd seen previously, put himself about and made some good challenges. But went into self destruct mode after the penalty that never was.
Really don't care if any of our players receive international call up's, it's just another chance to pick up injuries which could ultimately cost us
Well yeah i agree. I've said many, many times on here that as a City fan I don't want any of our players to be called up. My post criticising this potential call-up was in wanting the best for England.
Not a surprise if it happens - I just wonder if Henry WInter is flagging it up to create a bit of a backlash and perhaps push Hodgson into a more sensible decision, there are certainly better options available.
Hodgson is clueless and his selection policy warrants a sacking, but I wouldn't pick Davies for England at the moment either.
