Don't get me wrong, he is looking a very shrewd bit of business, but let's not get carried away. He's only made 5 appearances for us so far after all!
I didn't think it would take long before we saw you over here Warky now that Towan have a couple of wins under their belt. You guys must all be suffering with nose bleeds being at such high altitude in the table
I long for the day when a footballer replies to this question. "well to be honest it was the only deal on the table and i thought if i do 6 months here perhaps i might get snapped up by a bigger club"
Combination of things. History/size of ground/potential support if doing well/size of local population to name a few. Having started this argument let me make matters worse. Massive Club - Those previously mentioned and other similar. Certainly not NCFC. Bigger than NCFC IN MY OPINION. In Premier League - all except Burnley and possibly Swansea. In Championship - Forest, Wolves, Sheff Wed, Derby, Leeds, Cardiff, Fulham, Birmingham, Bolton and possibly Huddersfield and Brighton. Lower Leagues - Coventry, Sheff Utd, Portsmouth, Bristol City and very slightly possibly Plymouth, Luton and Bradford ( based purely on size of population ) Light touchpaper and retire!!!
If you seriously suggest that Plymouth are a "bigger" club than Norwich City then I'm going to have to seriously start questioning your judgement chap
In terms of catchment area then yes I would say Plymouth are bigger, They have just fallen on hardtimes. You could say Portsmouth have a case aswell. What I am trying to say is, a lot of clubs can say they are massive in terms of crowd, catchment, history etc etc etc.
Plymouth have never been in the top flight have they? I like the way 1p5wich didn't appear in 1950's list by the way, that's one I can agree with at least
