Well I've enjoyed reading this thread. I was born into a Protestant, Christian family & Christened in a CofE church. Although I was non practicing I would go Christmas morning, weddings, funerals & so forth. I really grew up & became a man on the streets of Ulster. That's when I started to question things & became agnostic. Two sections of Christian faith tearing each other to bits. Did I condemn them? Of course I did. When I was a boy growing up nobody gave a ****. You knew some of your mates went to a different school to you but it mattered not. However, in some parts of the world it does. I've seen religion for what it is, a lot of ****e. There's two things they all have in common. One is they're all hypocritical & the other is they all want your money. I really don't give a single **** what someones faith is but.................... And it's a bit of a big but. I ****ing despise those that try to impose their views on me. The Jehovah's Witnesses do it in a very mild way, pestering folk with their pamphlets & **** sheets whilst letting their children die due to the refusal to allow blood transfusions. The problem I have with muslims is a large section of them seem to want to take over the world & islamify it. I've been over it before & I'm not gonna repeat myself but I see the world as a better place without them.
I sympathise with your comments Billy. There are so many different Gods it's really difficult making a choice. If I just could speak to one of them face to face it would make it easier.

Well, they spent a small fortune digging up that waste ground and using a crack team of sniffer dogs and forensic experts. Some Christians acknowledge Darwins Theory of Evolution now and still think creationism is a plausibly theory they try to suggest that evolution was responsible for everything else apart from Humans... They missed that bit out in the bible "In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth, but not the things living on the Earth, apart from Humans, 8 billion years after everything else was created and primates were naturally evolving into humans as they appear today, anyway, God did the big part".

We best be careful debating a book. I was once warned by a priest for not standing up for a hymn in a church at a Christening. Apparently god takes it as a personal insult... I can imagine god will be far more disgusted by the things I've got up to out of wedlock, than me not standing on my feet whilst everybody sings lies at a chump on an organ in a dress.
