I really cant believe how miserable you lot are after 5 games wait until the 6th at least until you start seeing the sky falling
I feel like I develop some sort of mental illness after reading some of these threads. Two voices in my head! On the one hand, the negative posts make some sort of sense given our current able position and our abject capitulations against Spurs and United. On the other hand, at home, we've lost (but played damn well), won and then a draw.
No point in asking Imaz mate. The guy writes in riddles. You'd have to be the Boy Wonder himself to have any chance of cracking them. What I'm saying is that, for the first time, I'm starting to question Tony. I've had blind faith in him all the way through but the training ground falling through and the fact that we constantly seem to be scrapping for our lives on the field and firefighting with regards to the squad off it, leaves me wondering if our boy really does know what hes doing. Add the fact that he's offered Redknapp a new contract before waiting to see how he gets on this season and it does give pause for thought. I've always liked the chap immensely and I hope these doubts are nonsense but I can't help feeling a tad uneasy at this moment.
Well put. You would have to put all your critical faculties on hold to not have some small doubt. I'm still 99% behind TF but there is just that 1% niggle.
Is his mind on the job? When he conducts his airline business the results show that he is committed focused and sharp. His sporting ventures are anything but. Caterham was a disaster from start to finish and QPR.... well what can you say? He is/was a West Ham fan, tried to buy in there and was rejected. He allegedly tried to buy into Norwich too and was denied that opportunity. No harm in trying to find the best project, the best venture out there that your vision takes you to but is he applying his skills to this job? He is a very likeable person and says all the right things but something doesn't add up for me.
My impression is we are his rich man's play thing, his hobby. We can't really complain when any rich man is better than no rich man, and many are a lot worse than Tony. But it's hardly surprising we all have some concerns. I think the decisions he has made re the Management of the Club and continues to make have and are Bad. But there are bigger worries.
