Ted Lasso ftw. Would anyone really care if we lost with him in charge?

If we go for the full Yankee experience, we can employ soccer guy to run our twitter feed, cheer leaders at half time, double portions as standard for snacks but there is a danger that after seeing how well Klinsmann has managed the yanks, our new owners could view Freund as being a contender for manager.

"No smoke without fire. I'm sure Cain Hoy are doing their due diligence right now to assess the true value of the club
and will make a firm bid once they know the financial status of the club."

They probably did that in a day TBH.
What their (opening) bid offer will be (if any) is all that remains now IMHO. I reckon 500m at least.

All we need is soccerguy as head of PR + the return of Chowmein Defoe, and our journey to the dark side will be complete.

Sometimes I'm not certain you all share my heartfelt faith in the good ol' US of A.

Oh well, seemed to good to be true .
We have to put the cleaning lady on hold for
another decade , that trophy cabinet could be sold on for a
few quid to help with the digger costs.

Probably related to the fact they don't actually exist...

Probably a publicity stunt by Cain Hoy, before this had anybody even heard of them, everybody does now.

And look what we know about them...
    * The company does not have a website
    * The company wasn't founded until after the talk of a takeover bid began
    * There's a decidedly less American company called Cain Hoy Enterprises based in W1K
    * Their involvement with the Islington Square redevelopment also sounds rather shonky
    * The address given as their base of operations is, according to at least three real estate agents, still available for lease

It's like house prices - the time to buy and make a return was 7 or 8 years ago.

Clubs will sell now for top dollar with no guarantee that a club's income will keep growing and growing - and in Spurs' case, with the likelihood of having to invest huge sums in a new stadium to enable the club to remain competitive, then, if you're lucky, progress further.
