Well there you have it Vaseline. You and 'Bobby ace',are brothers in arms. It's really quite beautiful, you were made for each other Note that iv'e used a capital letter for Bobby. I'm only trying to help the lad
Thank you Bobby Ace ... I'm not sure City being in the Premier League is a good thing .... doubt I enjoy seeing City at the KC in the Premier League more than watching in the lower divisions from Kempton or Bunkers ... I still love it ... it's different but .... well, as I said it was nice while it lasted ... the fans are divided, City WILL get relegated from the Premier League one day ... I presume ..... and I just hope Dr. Allam leaves the club more able to withstand such events .. but I doubt any Allams will be involved in the club when they do eventually drop down the leagues .... I'm fascinated by "fan power" and what triggers fans' groups to form .... Bartlett selling most of the next seasons tickets in advance to a firm in London? Not worth forming a fan group over .... selling Turner for peanuts? ... no problem ... bringing in Ian Dowie? (I liked Phil Brown and thought, in the circumstances, no-one City could have attracted or afforded could have done better) .... so campaigning against The Allams ... probably the most benign owner Hull City have had since Harold Needler ..... but then again CTWD is made up of people that campaigned against The Needler dynasty .... who had been wanting to sell the club for years but not to just anyone .... they cared about the club, just were not prepared, or in a position to spend millions ..... so Tigers 2000's great achievement was bringing David LLoyd to the club ..... Hull City's protest groups have a history of picking the wrong scraps with the wrong people and their successes tend to be disasters .... and with leadership like "hip flask man", it's hardly surprising .... whatever happened to Angie Rowe anyway?
>>Before the name change application, fans sang City till I Die During the name change application, fans sang City till I Die After the name change application was rejected, fans sang City I Die<< Before the name change application, fans booed During the name change application, fans booed After the name change application was rejected, fans booed
So you think that changing the name of the club to Hull Tigers would mean they get a shirt sponsorship deal closer to £315 million ? Really ?
Surprising that sponsors with that sort of cash just don't create their own football team from scratch and march it through the leagues. Imagine the coverage they'd get for that.
Someone has - RB Leipzig, FC Red Bull Salzburg, Red Bull Brasil, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Racing, Scuderia Toro Rosso.
Weren't Slazburg rebranded? Edit: so were NY. I remember they had an entirely different nickname before.
They have to play as FC Salzburg and wear a modified badge when they play in Europe, due to sponsorship restrictions.
Didn't they have to start from scratch due to violent protests from various quarters about them being disrepectful to football culture? I'm thinking of Sachsen Leipzig.
