Excerpt from an interview with Cameron Jerome - “Obviously from my point of view, it wasn’t a move I rushed into,” he said. “I thought about it. I had quite a few offers on the table. I could’ve stayed at Stoke. I could’ve gone to one or two other teams, and I could’ve waited it out for one or two other teams that were coming to the table.

“But I chose Norwich because I wanted to come and play, I was excited by the project, excited by the gaffer and Norwich is a massive club. I’m grateful they’ve given me an opportunity to come and play football, and I just want to help the team as much as I can and hopefully we can stay on course and get promoted.”

    Read it here - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...ich_city_switch_from_stoke_1_3780082#cxrecs_s

Let's hope he can help push us towards the dream of promotion as he did with Birmingham.

For me, a front 2 of him and Hooper should tear this league apart! Jerome has the raw power and Hooper has the tenacity that is needed in this division. I can't wait to see them get some game time together!

Nice to hear you making the right noises Cameron and for you and City it represents a good move but Norwich ' a massive club ' - that is a step too far!!

A comment about the size of our club... Surprised we haven't had any pearls of wisdom from our bin pals yet.

    This <ok>

When was the last time a new player said anything different about 'their' new club. FFS, he could have gone to Middlesbrough/QPR/West Brom/Palace etc and said the same.

Dear me, "we are little Norwich" is that what you're saying? We are not a mega club and never will be but we are certainly are damn site bigger than when you and I first started going to Carrow Road 1950. We ARE a big club and have the potential to grow even more, I would currently put us in the top 20-25 in England <ok>

Well we're certainly 'bigger' than all of that lot, well possibly on a par with WBA <ok>

I know what he mean't Munky and it is nice to hear but to use the phrase normally used when players join Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd, Arsenal etc just seemed a bit over the top. Perhaps he should have said he had joined THE massive club in East Anglia!!!

People used to moan like hell When Hootun bigged up our opposition, and now when our star striker is bigging us up people aren't happy either.

Funny old lot football fans if you ask me.

In the league we currently inhabit, given the squad we have retained and added to, we ARE a massive club!

Should we return to the promised land, that will no longer be the case!

(now that I have just this week discovered how to actually give it, I thought it was all linked to liking and dislkiing posts)

How we managed to get such a decent player as Jerome for £1,5m i will never know.
    Is he on large wages?

Unbelievable isn't it mate, just can't believe we signed him for that money and he's only 28! Not only is he doing the business on the pitch but by all accounts he's a great character to have around the training ground and dressing room. In my mind he's certainly making the right noises, he was the first player to come over to the fans last Tuesday and appears to be loving life in Norfolk.

Best signing since Grant Holt? Maybe a little early to say that, but he's certainly heading in that direction.

Could well be - especially considering the fee!!. I can see him relishing the thought of getting back to playing in the PL!!!!
