We've discussed the moderator issue at length a couple of times over the last few years, putting it to a vote the second time. By a large majority we agreed that we didn't need one, as this is a friendly, self-policing board where none of the regulars go over the top at one another even when we disagree about stuff (as we often do). The only argument for having a mod is if it will prevent fans of other clubs making themselves unwelcome. Last time it was QPR fans that had some people asking for a mod. We've had a lot of visitors from your Leeds board recently, mostly indulging in childish gloating, but nothing offensive or out of order. I don't think we need a mod. Of course, if things change it will be Fulham fans who call for it rather than - no offense - a visitor from elsewhere who really has nothing to do with it.
Fair play, and all joking aside this is the politest board on NOT606. There is no point in moderating if there is no need. The temporary influx of massive Leeds is only due to the fact that your southern cousins from millwall have all disappeared and we crave interaction from the smoke. If Millwall ever win again their fair weather fanbase will be posting again and we will be on out of here again.
Even if scum get relegated wall are doomed this year so that ain't happening this side of the second coming. No need to worry about cup games as from next year wall will be playing in round one of cups so don't be stressing about something that won't happen.
Aha, that would be "Scum" a film directed by Alan Clarke..... Bugger - Wrong Allan Clarke. And apologies for use of the word Bugger to the LUFC fans visiting here on the Fulham board.
