'And with the money we could recoup, we may end up getting top draw players because we'll have even more funds available'.

How much of the income from the sale of Adebayor and Toure was re-invested - zilch Likewise if Clichy and Nasri go, i can't see the money being spent on any decent players, it will go into Stan's back pocket. Welcome to the world of Kroenke Inc .....Fans will be paying through the nose to watch a bunch of kids (again)

About as worried as you should be about the power shifting in North London. Tottenham League Cup Winners 2008. When was your last trophy again?

6 years eh? Massive. Spurs are better than you. Better players, able to keep hold of their star players etc.

There are better players out there with the money they've got, is what I'm saying. And he's similar to David Silva, so he won't bring much qualities that they don't have into the team.

If you're going to sell them then financially there's no better team to sell to. They'll pay much more than anybody else. If you re-invest the money well then it could be the making of you. Lose Fabregas, Nasri and Clichy, get a truck load of cash and rebuild - start a new dynasty maybe. You'll have the money for 5/6 top players, maybe players that aren't as greedy and arrogant as the likes of Nasri, want to show people what they can do and really give Arsenal the 'fresh look' that you need. Whether Wenger will spend big enough to really give you a knew look, well only time will tell.

The main worry I see is the simple fact you're letting players get into such a strong position by being so close to contract expiration. You'll stay relatively strong despite that as you have a solid foundation but you're going to struggle to win the title if this happens year after year. Your team doesn't grow like it should and some of the steam is taken out of your PL campaign while the team adjusts to loss of players.

My gut tells me these players wouldnt be so involved in the rumour mill if they saw some investment and ambition backed up by action, not talking about stupid investment but purchases of players simply in the 5-15 million region who can add a bit of quality where needed.

Explain why you are such a hypocrite. You are the clown who has just claimed City are better than United when they are clearly not yet when I do the same thing you cry? The same with you claiming I am from London yet when I claim you are from Africa you cry real tears.

A case of being able to give but not take?

No wonder your boyfriend dumped you.

I don't understand why Arsenal aren't picking up these kind of players in the transfer market because you have everything needed to attract them:

    - Some of the best scouting in the world to spot talent
    - Consistent champions league
    - Top quality facilities
    - Very reasonable wages (aren't capped as badly as Tottenham)
    - Good history of bringing players through and giving them a chance to shine

Players in that price region aren't usually the finished article so I thought it would meet Wengers criteria for honing and developing talent also, which leaves me baffled as to why there aren't signings similar to these. They're low risk as with the scouting available and the age of the player you'll nearly always break even on purchases with a few moving on at a tidy profit. E.g. Walcott is a good example of Wenger putting some money down to bring someone in.

I'm left a little  looking at your club as a result. Everything there to push on but for some reason certain steps aren't taken, I thought you would have learnt some about the contract situations also after Flamini left as he did.

Knowing City we'll get a round total of £1 billion for the two of them.

We are all a bit mystified/frustrated at Wenger's refusal to buy proven players. He said at the beginning of last season that if they did not win anything then his youth experiment had failed but it seems that he refuses to abandon it.

I wouldn't even call them proven players. Just some a little further down the line from Carl Jenkinson for example. Players around the age of 21-24 that wouldn't need extortionate sums of money to sign and who've shown glimpses of quality / potential in a foreign league / lower level to push on given the support AFC provides. Gervinho is a possible purchase but Wenger seems to have been flirting with that idea for weeks and months. It's not a deal that is going to make or break the club and you should get an about even return even if it doesn't work out so why so cautious? Your club have some amazing scouting capability and I feel it could be put to better use really.

If we are haggling over a £2 million valuation for his as it has been said then that would be completely ridiculous.

Doesn't Wenger have a Master's in Economics? I think he looks too much and thinks too much into all money related business by the looks of it.
