We are a successful Premier League club called Hull City AFC, we are not going to cease to exist if we don't change our name ffs.
I think I have an idea where this line of questioning is going ... but ho hum .... what if I work at the KC?
No. we're in our 4th season, in debt, not sure if income meets outgoings, have an owner some fans want out, a manager no doubt being sounded out by clubs who have had a bad start to the season who gets on well with a chairman who says the club's up for sale. We are not a successful Premier League club. There, on last seasons evidence might be about 14 clubs better than us. We spent a load of money on players. So did Norwich ... I must do some work ... i'll catch up later ...
Yes ... but I think it's irrelevant and doesn't make me a "super fan" or even more of a fan than a bloke who went to City for decades but is now house-bound and watches on telly (if it's on) or listens to commentary on the radio. I know people who go to every home match for free for the plonk and sandwiches because a client has a corporate box, it's a social thing for them, they really support Arsenal but never go and see them even when they're in London. This line of questioning makes me want to puke. You're a disgrace. I'd have thought any true City fan knew any number of heavy duty City fans who, for very good reasons, can't get to many matches .... how many matches did Tom Courtney get to?
anyway ... time for the night shift to take over .... as I said, perhaps on other threads, the "post-Allam" era has already started .... history will judge him and those that opposed him ... and chats like this will live on a thousand hard-drives. Night all ...
well, while I'm away, maybe all the people who want to know so much about me can ponder why I have zero interest in knowing anything about them and their city attendance record ...
Dutch, in the spirit of helpfulness I'm happy for you to ask me this question, so as not to make vaslav feel singled out.
Get off your high horse, Night Guy. Given that no end of complete tossers who don't know the first thing about football or this club are offering their opinions on the name change debate, it's a highly pertinent line of questioning to adopt.
I'm guessing you don't go then. I'd hazard a guess that the "working at the KC's a red herring". What a peculiar reaction to something that has actually been asked of everybody here on a number of threads just asking that question.
