Definitely the first two years at uni. Non stop shagging, drinking, drug taking and shagging. Met my current girlfriend in the summer after 2nd year and buckled down to get my degree which wasn't so much fun.

I got loads of people telling me not to go. Its not as 'unsafe' as people made out and gets loads of western tourists (I met loads of germans) If you go to Lahore there are loads of western white people. Karachi has always had bomb blasts (not just now as they would have you believe) Funny thing I found it safer than India and sri lanka but you never hear of the **** there
Stonehenge Free Festival 1991. It wasn't at Stonehenge but somewhere within/without the 5 mile exclusion zone. This is not the alternative Stonehenge festival held a few weeks later at Longstock, this was during the Solstice, no idea where it was but would love to know. Never seen so many people selling drugs, all sorts, you could get a tab of acid for £1 such was the competition. There were bands (no idea who), a dub reggae sound system and a 24 hour rave courtesy of Spiral Tribe/Circus Normal/Circus Strange/god knows. We arrived in my battered old Escort, took a couple of tabs each and I don't remember much after that. I've been to Reading and Glastonbury several times but this was in another league.
