It seems that since the ' Man Utd of the Conference ' as they like to be called these days or the ' Barca of the 4th tier' as they use to call them selves, they have had nothing to shout about, except, how superior they are to all the teams in Non League football, League 2 and 90% of League 1 due to their, as they claim, very high home gates, the fact that half those attending these games were with free tickets is not mentioned. I thought I would do a comparison between them and the other 2 main sporting teams in Bristol and see how valid their claims are, I have based these figures on the most recent home games (last two), regardless of special offers and they stack up like this.. * Bristol City FC - 11773 + 12007 = 23780.. * Bristol Rugby - 6585 + 8549 = 15134.. * Bristol Rovers FC - 6028 + 4861 = 10889.. Not a very good analysis I know but it just proves how low Bristol Rovers FC are now regarded in the Bristol area..
Sheff Utd aside L1 is very poorly attended overall. Bradford, Preston and ourselves are the other best supported teams, but with us top of the league and unbeaten we should be having full houses every home game by now at least in the home areas

I suppose that when another or both of the Bristol Sport stable, Bristol Flyers or Bristol Women's Academy get higher attendances than the Gas, we will know that there is truly only One senior football Team in Bristol.
It's like moth to a flame I just feel sorry for the all the kids who take up half of the minimal, they don't even get to choose which team they support
So now you know what it's like to be talked about Wiz! We know all about that, as you're on about us all the time Look at it this way, you'd get all lonely and upset if we just ignored your ramblings, like most of your Ted colleagues do, - so surely it's nice to know that we care?
