Why do we have another manager mumbling away in some incomprehensible accent ?

It seems only weeks since we got rid of errrr A err V errrrr B, and after a brief ray of sunshine in tim sherwood, we are back to a foreign guy looking down at the desk, mumbling complete gibberish in interviews.

    Can the next one please

    a) speak english
    b) have some idea what he's going to say before he's said it
    c) not sulk when being interviewed

At the moment, I can see this fella lasting about 5 minutes, and im struggling to work out why the last guy was sacked to bring this one in tbh.

From what I can see, it was

    A) that him having been at spurs for about ten years, didnt make him loyal enough (as his dad supports a different team), so we had to bring in some foreign guy who'd only ever been to london before on away games.

    B) Sandro (the guy weve just sold) didnt like him.

Saints fan in peace (well, not really in peace. I came to take the piss, a bit).

I ****ing love you guys though. Without a doubt the most pessimistic supporters anywhere in football. Pochettino really couldn't have picked a less forgiving bunch to try and impress.

We're all annoyed and probably depressed, it is a monday after we lost at home to a team that will likely be relegated after all. Regardless, we do have some drivel on here today.

Would you prefer a manager who spoke clear and concise bullshit?

I think its about the Europa this year...its easier to get into the CL that way...and once we in it..maybe we can get the quality of team we need...its arse over tit..but needs must for the holy grail.

Maybe, just maybe we should have approached the fat waiter but it's early days yet. I just wish he'd have a shave now and again.

Trust me, take the word of someone whose team used to have Roy Hodgson as manager... I'd rather a manager sulk after doing badly than have a manager who is all chipper at losing to a team that should be 15 points lower on the table and talk about how well the team played. After every game that isn't won smile and say "well we have to accept we're not a big team anymore and this was a good result" (not verbatim).

Between the two- a manager who sulks when he loses is much more preferable to one who is happy about losing.

Spot on, lets look at some of the biggest sulkers:

    1 - Fergie
    2 - Wenger
    3 - Mourinho

Yep, the 3 guys who keep winning things over the last 20 years.

I don't think that he sulked at all. I think that he was understandably and correctly angry about the **** performance.
He hit the nail on the head about why it was poor, how it was poor and what we need to do to correct it and didn't make any dodges that I noticed, either.

His English still isn't great, which, er... isn't great, but that can be worked on.
Being able to spot what's not working and doing something about it is what's important. He's done the former, now let's see if he can do that latter.

His English isn't 'great' but he clearly feels confident enough to do solo interviews and as long as he can communicate effectively with his players and staff (which by all accounts he has been able to do for ages now) then I don't really care if he can be a bit slow in answering interview questions to be honest.

Its far from a case of "Don't worry, he's from Murphy" (yes, that really is a place name in Argentina!)

It`s standard Spurs, we have always been a charity organisation for relegation threatened clubs..... playing awful football? struggling in the relegation zone?..... come along to White Hart Lane and have 3 points courtesy of Tottenham Hotspur.

You're essentially insulting us but all I can do is nod and laugh. Some of the criticisms cropping up are getting more an more tenuous, I honestly don't think some of our fans enjoy winning as much as they do moaning and writing us off.

How completely and utterly true. We are actually above ManU, Liverpool and Everton, but apparently we are so much worse than them.
