Chelsea just showed why they will be champions. As soon as City have gone down to 10, immediate extra man in midfield and the space was used magically, brilliant team goal that, and utterly ruthless.
Ref was a bit of a joke but Vardy was going nowhere, Rafael was his usual idiotic self, it was as if that all happened in slow motion, you could see it coming. We lost our bottle after that and Leicester deserved the win, Blind just fell apart and stopped protecting the back 4. We need to learn when to sit in and ride the storm, but we attacked and tried to force the game when Leicester were on the front foot. Funny old game innit, best league in the world by a mile. Two horse race for that title this year, the skiprats and Arsenal won't even get a sniff.
That was as bad a referring display as ive seen in a while. Mond we have been on the end of similar displays. Ferrari at the front, Micra at the back.
I'd be very surprised if they mount a serious challenge, the difference between City/Chelsea and Arsenal is gargantuan for me.
Same old culprits, Rafael, Mata and even though he's just a kid, Blackett. I'm not gonna blame the ref despite a couple of iffy decisions, no ref in the world should be able to engineer a Leicester win against that United side from 3-1 down, it was a total capitulation from us and they were clinical, fair play to them. Got a lot of time for N Pearson as well, he's a good manager, very likeable person. We really, really miss Carrick.
I kinda feel sorry for Blackett. He is just a kid as you say, thrown in to the lions den. Not his fault Evra, Ferdinand and Vidic werent replaced to help him out.
Yeah, you're right, he's been thrown in at the deep end. For this reason, LVG won't lose confidence in him, but for his own sake he really needs a mentor and somebody like Evans isn't the man for that job. We need a quality, experienced CB who stays fit and can command the back line, ideally English... wonder if Wes Brown fancies coming home!
