Think Bony watched 300 the night before the game to get himself pumped up... as he made that challenge you could see him screaming (in his head) THIS IS SWANSEA!! haha Great win from the super saints. Up yours Poch, tw*tbeard & Dejan Lovrentboys!!The SFC march on!
Would love to have seen Bony growl and try to do that to Vic....he would have bounced off and landed in the crowd.
Bony watched 300 the night before to get himself pumped up, you could tell he was screaming (in his head) as he went in for that challenge "THIS IS SWASEA" haha Great win for the super saints, on we march as we say up yours to Poch, t**tbeard and Dejan Lovrentboys!
Yoshida is hardly the kind of player you would have in your Jack Charlton black book though. Maybe he is confused with Yosushi ?
Don't judge all Swansea fans by some that post on here spaced. My over riding emotion when leaving the Liberty yesterday was anger at Bony being so stupid - think the first 'yellow' tackle was clumsy and not particularly malicious but the second was sheer stupidity; the referee had no option but to send him off. It was particularly disappointing because it was shaping up to be an excellent football match but after the red it was only a matter of time before you scored. I am not bitter in the slightest and who knows what the result would have been if Bony had stayed on? As it was he was sent off and we can have no complaints about the result. But it's early days and we are both in excellent positions in the league, before the season started would have been very happy with 9 points from 5 games and I guess that you lot are equally happy with your position after the Summer you have had; to lose so much talent and still start the season the way you have is remarkable. Have always had a soft spot for Southampton, not just because of the Monk link but because of the way you play football; yesterdays game won't define either of our seasons but hope we do you in the return match (especially after Lambert's late one in the Liberty game last season ) So good luck for the season and hope we are both in the top ten at the finish from an absolutely NOT bitter Swan (there are plenty of us about),
Who knows Jose, who'd have thought Manure would have let a 3-1 lead slip against Leicester (still laughing about that one) - that's why we all love football so much - 11 v 11 and more twists than a Dan Brown novel!!!
Yeah, I read a couple of Dan Brown novels before I realised what the awful stink was. It was the stories.
To be honest it was going to take something special for either side to get a result out of this match losing your player gave us the edge on the day. I think both managers made tactical errors in this match. Ours in the first half and yours after the sending off......
Games like this are sweet. It was one that we all predicted would be tough, so good to come away with all 3 points. I suspect Koeman learnt more from this game than from a romp against Newcastle.
Well I'll be happy if every week is like a Dan Brown novel. ... that'll mean the same thing will happen each time, just in a different city *I actually like reading them, as they are easy reading and usually give you some half decent info on some interesting cities*
Schneiderlin (quoted in the Express) said the team got together after the transfer window and discussed what had happened. He said, ''We need to show everyone who is doubting us that we can do something great.'' This will have been instigated by Fonte, who I remember saying that the team needed to convince Morgan that it was right for him to stay.
I thought that too. Definitely a Fonte move. He has been an outstanding captain. I feel we've been lucky with leaders in Fonte, Hooiveld and SKD. Great leaders and people people.
