I thought Zabaleta's was a straight red, but now I realise it was a second yellow. You're right; both should've walked.
I would add Soton into that, but otherwise there is a very interesting mini-league. Great performance by you guys today, it was bloody good football to watch. Referee left a bit to be desired, but you guys took them on and kicked their backsides. Well done.
Let me just be straight here. I don't actually wish a career ending injury on anyone I was just hoping to set AKCJ off into a tirade, which is usually fairly simple. Although if it ever happened to a cheating twat player I'd probably find it amusing admittedly. Likewise with Jamie Vardy I just made up a load of ****, he most likely doesn't really go round stamping on people's heads. But I do seem to recall reading about him being a bit of a thug and being on tag/getting sent down but that may have been someone different. Just thought I'd clear that up.
No but we will be x many points apart from Leicester, WBA, Spurs and Man U at the end of the season. This X will be a number closer to WBA and Leicester over Spurs and Man U. Actually, i give up. Why do I even bother with people like you
BaldyMike ‏@BaldyMemike Nigel Pearson is the only person who can make today's win over Man Utd sound like an unsatisfactory trip to B&Q.
Right, so now that they have those 3 points each, they're now going to be three points ahead of us all season? No. Because nobody knows how well each respective team is going to do. How do you know we won't beat Man City? You don't know. If we win next week and Leicester lose, we'll go back ahead of them again. Obviously we aren't going to be competing at the top of the table, but surely you can see that at this stage in the season it's common for weaker teams to pick up points? Look at us last season! The better teams pick up points throughout the season, not all at the beginning and then nothing at the end. Most of the teams are still on single figures for points, so I really don't think at this stage of the season we should be concerning ourselves with points totals and win/loss ratios. Don't give up, you're almost there. Well, probably not. You're not. S'ok. I'll write you a Cbeebies show explaining it all.
Look, I'm not denying that it was an awful decision. But it's just not a dive and I find it pathetic that you can't be happy for a fellow Premier League minnow to score five against a so-called big team. Vardy fouled Rafael, that's clear as day and if that's the type of shoulder barge that is within the rules of the game then the penalty should never have been given because it's obviously soft. If the Rafael foul on Vardy happens in the middle of the pitch then nobody says a word. It's a clear foul, regardless of what happens before hand. Although it's an awful case of double-standards. But the referee got it wrong, not Jamie Vardy. They got it spot on on match of the day.
This one He may have gone down easily, which you may constitute as a dive, but, like it or not, it's just part of todays game... He isn't the first player to do it, and he won't be the last. You rarely "get" penalties any more, you "win" them, and it's considered "clever play". Vardy just put his body in between the man and the ball, and Rafael, obviously not happy with the recent barge, fell for it hook, line, and sinker... Don't give the referee a decision to make in the first place... We were fantastic yesterday, yes a poor decision gave us one goal back, but a) that does not excuse the epic crumble from there on in, and b) as already mentioned on here, it was against Man Utd, so let's just let this one go, eh?
Do you think i'm geeky enough to remember who precisely? Safe to say shedloads came on here. And was it WBA at home? I seem to recall he got loads of stick cos it was against his former club.
