So its hamilton heres where you go to lose: 1350 - Hard n Sharp - Ryan sprinter with Glee (no not the show) on board! 1420 - Very first blade - stands rail draw dropping back a furlong 1st time visro to sharpen up! 1450 - Incurs four faults - Dalgleish and Lee - that is all <NAP> 1520 - Dhualar Dar - because it shouldnt be this price but it is! 1550 - Ridge Ranger - didnt get the break last time! 1620 - Park Place - the fav shown on soft so its worth a punt! 1650 - Staffhoss - Johston wont go home empty handed 1720 - Blue Sonic - but apparently Glee doesnt hang out for the last unless............................................................ Oh and we voted not to be independent, we didnt vote for devo max YES or NO means just that
Apparently you were lied to Gaz. Despite every opinion poll (except one) over 2 years and running into the many hundreds stating a majority for remaining together he now claims the only reason he lost was because of the offer of new powers in the last week. Alex Salmond cannot stop himself, drunk on his own ambition for a place in history and willing to turn Scot against Scot to realise his nationalist dream. Alex Salmond, worst of men. On a lighter note and to address the racing I really fancy one in the 3.50 and think the price is very good at present Hamilton 3.50 Alexanderkollantai 9-4
Really good to read that Bryan Cooper is riding out and will return to race riding within a few weeks
Lovely comment from Mr Henderson re Sprinter Sacre at his open day: “We’ll give him a racecourse gallop and make certain everything is tickety-boo before he goes in to bat.” I wonder if Sir Barney was at the open day?
Nope, Oddy, unfortunately I wasn’t at the Open Day rubbing shoulders with Mr Henderson. There is though a wonderful picture of the great man, on page 3 of today’s ‘Racing Post’, microphone in hand entertaining his guests. Eyecatching comments from Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer, at the Open Day, include him calling WEST WIZARD his ‘best young prospect’, the news that LONG RUN will again be targeted at the GN followed by the ultra rich staying race in France, JOSSIES HILL looks set for a lucrative novice chase campaign, BEAT THAT is most likely to stay over hurdles, COCKTAILS AT DAWN is going chasing, and a Zaynar like purchase is HARGAM bought as a 3YO from the Aga Khan. This one could be a leading player in the Triumph as 3 runs on the level included a win and a 4th in a Listed affair.
Where’s the old boy from last week who informed us all that he was someone on the ‘inside’ at Roger Varian’s?!? Mr Varian has 3 unraced ones out today and surely we need to be advised which of these are now ‘his best 2YO’, is ‘burning up the gallops’ and ‘catching and eating Jack Duckworth’s pigeons’. Come on, old boy, chop chop, the forum wants and needs answers.
Think the horse was Quality Song. Hmm, maybe a bookie's runner? http://www.racingpost.com/horses/re...lts_top_tabs=re_&results_bottom_tabs=ANALYSIS
I think Gold Will from the Beckett yard looks good in this next at Kempton. The Godolphin horse is hot favourite but I am not convinced with a horse which runs in headgear so soon being made such a hot favourite. That Gold Will is only 3-1 suggests something is expected of it.
Has Kingman really just been retired with a sore throat? What a joke. Could have gone down as a modern great.
Understandable really though - they are missing a top miler stallion at Banstead Manor .................... ah, wait a minute, what was that other horse called?
Just after seeing that Royal Warranty, who I strongly fancied to win last time, won at 12/1 today. Didn't check any runners last night!
Amazing performance by Appleby. Were the 2yos 'forced' to deliver first time out or are they real prospects?
