Everything was dealt with on the day though, it was rare for anyone to get charged with anything and there was obviously no such thing as banning orders. Normally you just got slung out of a ground, or if anything happened before a game, you got locked in the back of a van until the game finished, then you were sent on your way.

I did it once. I got free travel. My instructions were to report to the KC in the morning and I was handed a sheet with names on it and of course the number of which bus I would be 'in charge of' No bag search, no lectures, just counting people on and off.
I did have to give the driver instructions on how to get to the ground but I don't think that is compulsory.
Years ago when our away support was two men and a dog there was always preferential treatment on the one official supporters club coach. I've even know them to refuse to pick stranded fans up because they weren't OSC members, even though they had spare seats on board.
It was also common knowledge that the preferential passengers in those days also got their hands on any free tickets. Same people every week. I don't think there are any free tickets these days. But it wouldn't surprise me if there was.
It's a difficult one this. Should those who travel to every away game with TT always sit on the first and best coach together? If you were one of them you would argue the case.
    I'm not, I travel independently.

I think if we have a Premier Coach, it should be first comes first serve or you pay a couple of £ more to be on it and once it's full, it's full. That's fair all around.

Whilst people are sharing their Tiger Travel related grievances,,, does it not wind anyone else up stopping every 5 metres from the outskirts of Hull to the KC Stadium to let a few off?

Clear West Hull bias. Get off at the stadium and make your own way home like the rest of us.

I remember Blackburn away we stopped 5 times on that road. Awful.

Last Sunday we stopped once near Silver Cod and the rest went to Walton Street. They either stopped it or nobody else needed to be off.

I've never really grasped that. You're right, 90% of the bus have to be inconvenienced for them, but they didn't get picked up from there,so they got to the KC some how, and they can't ALL live that close to Darleys.

Yeah it's silly DMD. It gets to the point it may asleep drop us all outside our house.

Sorted Newcastle today, their mistake and they're sending them out this afternoon.

    Just to update this...

Was on Tiger Travel 2 yesterday.

It nearly kicked off. A man and his two kids were last to board the coach. The dad sat on his own and let his kids sit together. The guy who ticks people on, then asked the kids to move and go sit separately at the back. The dad asked why and the organiser said those two seats were reserved for two people getting on at Goole. The dad said so you're going to make two kids sit on their own and the organiser said "you should have got here earlier." Another fan shouted that "those two aren't here at all from Goole and they should sit separately at the back". The organiser tried to blame "the woman with the blonde hair" who was running between coaches and asked him to reserve two seats.

    More favouritism?

On the way home, the guy that was organising our coach, then got off on the A63 and just left the rest of us to fend for ourselves with all sorts of stop offs down Anlaby Road taking place.

You should have been on Coach 5 mate..One of the punters threatened to smack the steward ..Who to be fair was been a bit of a clever dick...The punter got right in the guys face, refused to sit down and and repeatedly threatened to knock him out..

To be honest I don't think I shall be using TT for a while not after that episode...

A Guy in his mid to late twenties and a girl, who he said was his niece, arrived about 10 mins after everyone else had boarded the coach at the end of the game....The steward was not too pleased and said something to the girl on the lines of your drunk and a disgrace or something on those lines. I didn't hear the full exchange. The guy and the girl then took their seats towards the back of the coach, before the coach set off the guy rushed up to the front of the coach to confront the steward who was a bloke in his late 50/ early 60's I guess. The bloke demanded that he apologise to the girl who he said was in tears....A stand off took place, even with the coach in motion with the younger guy hurling abuse at the steward and threatening to knock him out...This carried on for about 25 mins with the guy refusing to go to his seat until the steward apologised to the girl...all the time hurling verbals.

I don't want to say to much more as I guess there will be a (no pun intended) stewards enquiry into what went on. I have no wish to apportion blame, though the guy and the girl did seem to have had a couple too many..Only to add that the steward seemed to take his role a bit too seriously!!

First taste of TT tomorrow usually train it with friends but I'm meeting a friend down there and at £16 i thought id give it a shot. Few quick questions can I leave my bag on the coach at all? And what time do people think we'll make it back, I'm guessing like 12?

Yeah you can leave things on the coach to safe dragging it around London. I normally do.

No idea what time to get back. 10:30 would be amazing as I'm up on early-ish on Sunday.

    I'm on Coach 8 I think tomorrow.

    Me again...

You know how you're not allowed booze on the coach? There was a crate of Stella on Coach 8 this morning which was on there before any passengers did (so it must have been the stewards or drivers?) It was there on the way there but had gone on the way home?

    That's surely not right?

(And what's the deal with reserving seats for people boarding at Goole making those at Hull possibly having to sit apart? It's causing more and more arguments every trip and they insist on allowing it? (Yeah I've already mentioned this but it still happens... As does the seventeen stops on Anlaby Road to drop people off?)).
