He went over with a Charity to give food, water, nappies etc to Syrian refugees. The rest of the party were all muslims. He was warned by them not to go over the border and to wait behind because it was far too dangerous. He was adament he wanted to deliver the goods to the refugees personally though. Unfortunatley its cost him his life. He had 2 teenage kids aswell.

I think I heard it that this fella was captured previously and he escaped or he was freed by a rescue party, he was then warned about going back in there. Think I would have taken the advice and stayed well away!!
