The players need to toughen up. Hopefully they learn a lesson that no one is going to stand back and admire their skills. They are going to have to fight in every match.

Lower than losing 4-0 against a League 1 side? :bandit:

Or being beaten 4-1 and 3-0 at home against us

I wasn't impressed with Rojo at all today. He's not ready to play centre back in the PL.

Comedy performance by Clattenburg but that's no excuse for an abject capitulation by United.

Quite ironic to see you lot moaning about a penalty decision after the joke penalties you've been awarded for the last 20 years.

It was a poor decision but neutrals loved it.

Delighted, Shrewsbury Town Kick started Leicester city's season in the league cup. do hope Man Utd have not taken on back to back Lemon Managers. work in progress at centre half? Floreat Salopia, perhaps we may wing a Canary on Tuesday!

Although I gave Clattenburg a bit in my video I've moved on now. He's the FA's problem and they'll bury their head in the sand as usual.

But what makes his decision unfathomable is if it was just the Rafael thing on Vardy you wouldn't be happy because it was soft and a dive. But the fact Vardy looks at Rafael and knocks him over seconds before Rafael runs along side Vardy in the area and Vardy falls over is just crazy. No sane person watches both those incidents and gives a penalty. Bottom line, Clattenburg has a very dodgy history and clearly there are issues with him. He's going to cause other teams problems in the future and when he does we'll all be able to say I told you so.

As for United. The Rojo thing concerns me. Shaw is a better left back so I can't see why we're not playing a 30 million pound player.

Shaw is just coming back from an injury and to be fair we shouldn't expect a youngster to solve our problems. One of our issues is related to our Centre Backs not being able to stay fit to gain an understanding and decent partnership. Personally I am getting frustrated with Jones, Smalling and Evans in a similar way I used to feel with Saha, got a lot of talent but always injured.

We also do not seem to have any natural leaders back there either.

    "continue his grudge against us".

    Such paranoia is quite breathtaking.

Referees bent over backwards for decades to ensure Ferguson got his way,so now it's your time to man up.

I said to you all when the window shut.
LVG has a really unbalanced squad here.
Some were even claiming that United defence was fine, or worse yet, better than Chelseas (Rojo > Cahill <laugh> You know who you are).
What he did was spend a monumental sum of money improving your attack, which in itself was already laden with World class talent (Rooney, RVP, Mata) and was already the strongest area of your team. Yes they didnt perform well last season, but RVP missed half the season and you didnt sign Mata till January, and Rooney can't be expected to do it all himself.

I said weeks ago, if you had signed Hummels and Vidal you would be challenging for the title, as it stands you will probably challenge for the top 4, and you have a good chance, considering every other top 4 team (other than ourselves, yesterday notwithstanding) seems to be playing like ****.
Like UiR said, 4 points from 4th spot, considering how gash your results have been, is remarkable so top 4 is still very achievable provided your team buck their ideas up.

Obviously the fans want to have it sorted as soon as possible. It is looking like most of the challengers for that 4th spot are inconsistent. It would be quite disappointing if United did miss out.

The players have to start playing as a team and also realise that they will be in a physical battle in most matches. Other teams will not sit back and admire the skills of Di Maria, Mata and Falcao and Co.

All fans have opinions etc but sometimes you need to take a step back and assume the people running clubs, managers, scouts etc know more than the rest of us. In this case you have to question that theory. LVG has approached the last window likes he's playing championship manager (or managing Barca for real), buying up every attack minded player possible, that arguably weren't even needed and completing leaving the defence and defensive midfield with inadequate or inexperienced players.

He's now had to bring in this diamond formation to fit in Falcao, Rooney and RVP in the same team meaning United 2nd most expensive signing sits on the bench with last years wonder kid who we're now being told is a centre forward. Why? Because LVG now can't play wingers with the players he has and Janujaz is clearly a winger. United will still batter some teams as they have some brilliant players but the squad is a mess and already people are waiting for Jan despite a 200 million spend since last Jan!! Absolute farce.
