Well said Chaz. And Hull too. Any naysayers go to the Hull board and check out their thread on that match. And Stoke? Well the logic on here today is that Leicester did so much better against United than we did so we must be doomed right? Just a thought but maybe, just maybe, Leicester are way better than any of us on here gave them credit for. I'd include myself in that. Well done to them. So while we belittle their win today and doom ourselves by comparison can I extend the logic? Stoke beat City away. Stoke couldn't beat us away. Conclusion? We're better than City. Us.
We ain't with the vibe yet. One more loss, or maybe a good draw and it's all over. Who called us DQPR?
Good post. On Saturday we had 16,000 at the match, today Leicester had 31,000. Southampton get around 30,000 and Hull over 20,000. All in newish stadiums with facilities to match. There's no future for us the way things are and no obvious way out. As for Teflon Tony until we see at a minimum a proper training ground he should let the facts and not his mouth do the talking.
That's it I'm done. I'm off to drop that bullet in, spin the chamber and pull the trigger. Wish me luck. I may be some time.
Pretty miserable on here. I was working yesterday afternoon and so didn't watch. Was the football good enough to suggest there is hope, or were we really that lucky? As others have said, would be happy to see a change at the top, and someone in who isn't just looking to retire as soon as anything goes badly.
Well you make your own luck in football I guess. But we didn't get a striker in January last year when Austin got injured and had to do with 4th place. Played well against Wigan both home and away. The final, we got the goal at the right time, but was we the best team over the ninety minutes and extra time? Harry stated he thought it was going to penalties. So was it luck or not?
But not every team takes twenty years to build without money. Both West Ham and Newcastle have been relegated in the last few years and managed to return much stronger and they have had to buy players (around the same price we can afford) to do so.
I don't think people are miserable more frustrated. We didn't get much to cheer last time we got promoted and hoped it be different this time. It is early days but with our defenders leaking goals and lack of strikers its hard to be positive. Hopefully we can get it right this season.
The defence were totally exposed by Mr dinosaur's formation. I agree that the team does have a spirit that was definitely lacking last time around.
It's the same on here after every game, we got a point when all looked lost, spirit got us that & yes we was poor at times, but Christ give it time & hopefully performances & results will change, but give it a rest lads.
