Yes its early in the season, but, no point in putting your head in the sand if you are intrigued enough to do look at our position. We have a daunting fixture list ahead of us, and we are only 2 points above a bottom 3 position. If things go wrong for us and right for the rest of the crowd then we could be there along with all that could do to moral etc. No need to get to concerned at this stage of the season, but, we need to stop giving 2-0 leads away (as Louis Gaal is probably saying about giving up 3 1 leads), stop gifting the ball to the opposition, whilst continuing to stick the half chances away. Lets start with a moral boost against West Brom.
I agree, unlike some of the other teams around us we probably had a lot more away on international duty, which included 2 of the new signing. SB is still trying to settle everyone down to training with each other, and getting a system that suits. I am confident once the new signings are up to speed, then we will start to get the wins.
nothing like seeing our relegation rivals Man U and Liverpool below us in the table.. Jeez, some of you have never had it so good
And which other of our City's fine establishments should we be gracing? Given that the other options are Poz, Welly, whatever Tower is atm and Fuel, is it really that poor? As far as our club scene goes, Sugar is not actually that bad. It's not really my scene (I'm a bit more metal, so Spiders/White Room for me) but I can see the appeal and you aren't really blessed for choice, it's something they really should be looking to improve on. I went to uni in Leicester and they had/have Zanzibar (which is now Republic I think), Mosh, Liquid/Envy, Fan Club, Venom, Roots (which was mostly just white people who really like Reggae and bass - ugh), Helsinki, Basement (where I was on Thursday...), Souq, Manilla and a great O2 arena. I know Leicester has two uni's to cater for, but there really needs to be a better student nightlife in Hull.
Well if we had won yesterday 8pts would have been a decent start how ever throwing the lead away we now have six which i would say is a steady start. With Man city, Liverpool away and Arsenal away coming up in our next four games its going to be difficult to gain many points. Regarding today's results both Everton and spurs both been playing in Europa league this week lost.
Interesting reading at the moment the PL table, early days yes but still those supporters of the 'bigger' clubs like Liverpool Man Utd and I suppose Newcastle Utd have now joined the ranks of the 'not so big clubs' at the moment. I think we suspect that those with the biggest wallets will win out in the end, especially during the January transfer window when if these same clubs if still in the same positions will have the money to spend their way back to the top. But for now things are bubbling up nicely just not comfortable for the likes of Old Trafford, Anfield, St James Park, White Hart Lane and Goodison Park.
My brother saw Livermore and Meyler in there. Said somebody was ribbing Meyler about being on the bench so he got into a bit of pushing and shoving.
Satdee night is for squares. Hipsters do Thursday night or summat. You could probably just about keep your hipster cred by going to the proper old town bars and drinking ales with names like badgers arse.
