http://www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2384411,00.html ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WATFORD boss Sean Dyche has added to his backroom staff today (Thursday) following some key departures. Ian Woan has been confirmed as the club's Assistant Manager and will join the Hornets from Portsmouth, where he has been First Team Coach to Steve Cotterill. Woan is a former midfielder who spent a decade at Nottingham Forest, it was at The City Ground where he crossed paths with Dyche and the two have remained firm friends ever since. Also joining Dyche's backroom staff is Tony Loughlan, he will take up the post of First Team Coach. The 41-year-old is another former Forest player and, more recently, he has been an integral part of Roy Keane's staff at both Sunderland and Ipswich Town. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, looks like SD has almost got his back-room team assembled. I assume there will be a new Head of Medical to appoint, to replace Richard Collinge?
Probably why he's only the 1st team coach. Remember seeing the guy in telly with Keane talking to him and this chap didn't really do much but nod!
He was probably thinking... "I don't have a clue what this bloke is shouting at me, but if I nod, maybe he won't hit me!"
From a Pompey fan. Ian Woan has done a fantastic job for Pompey, considering the squad we had last year and how the lads, far from just clinging on, at one point, went on a run of 7 wins without conceding once. He will serve you well, of that, I have no doubt.
has he had an early night?? Not like him to disappear at this time! lol (though i'm going to soon! lol)
