Vergne will get to keep 6th, well deserved actually. Bottas he did well to keep that on the road but my god
Lol..I think Rosberg learnt a lesson on how to open a grap in just a few laps... Also how did Hamilton managed to hold those supersofts for so meant laps I would like to know. For a guy that they say eats up tyres. Wow.
Well it only took Vettel a million chassis' and mechanical issues to beat his teammate by 0.7 seconds Miggins and Silver (wherever you are), you can have that victory
That stint after the safety car on the supersofts shows his genius indisputably for me. Eats up tyres? Eats up all opponents! I'll stop now, I sound like a Hamelot.
Ricciardo was hampered by energy recovery issues. (sorry, but they like to point out when Vettel is beaten because of a technical issue)
President of the Galactic Federation of Hamelots... I bow before thee!!!! Mercedes got very, very lucky for me. Too busy worrying about Alonso, who would never have passed Hamilton even with the better tyres on, and they stuffed him behind the safety car (during statistically the most likely period for a SC). Honestly, if they'd made the right call, Hamilton would probably have run away by a distance. Hamilton did a superb job to win. Outstanding. I fully anticipated him coming out about 6th and not being able to overtake anyone on a track where it's almost impossible... Obviously the Mercedes is so good that it can still be competitive when the tyres have gone off, but still, Hamilton very impressive today. Rosberg getting zip just makes this dreamland. That last race is either going to be the best thing ever to happen to F1, or someone will retire with a problem and lose the F1 title in the worst way possible...
I've been meaning to ask, what happened to Silver? Anyway, yeah, it was a shame Daniel couldn't poach 2nd.
Can't help but feel Ricciardo would have got second had Alonso let him through at the start like he did Vettel, but I think the ending was fair enough, they were all tip-toeing around on those tyres.
