we are going to get shredded at Arsenal, apart from Lloris this is a p*ss poor spurs team. Sanchez, the Ox, Welbeck vs Kaboul( I am injured again) Chiriches and Rose. What a miserable thought...
I hope we don't snatch this because the players, and coaches too in all probability, need a ****ing wake up call.
Anichebe coming on for West Brom. Looking to hold the ball up and trouble our exceptionally nervous defence.
BBC Football Live commentary hasn't updated from when United went 4-3 down! I think the bloke in charge of it must be a United fan! I reckon he's ****ed off home.
Paulinho trying the overhead kick in injury time. I hope Pochettino admits just how bad this was and doesn't make excuses. Virtually nobody comes out of this with any credit.
Cant blame Archway sheet metal really. Who would want to have a big pile of **** in their back yard....
Foster booked for wasting time, yet Friend adds none on. Typical. Absolutely crap performance, barring maybe Lloris. No imagination, awful defending and toothless up top. Really bad stuff and the team that plays Forest in the week should know that they're all playing for a start against the Goons.
Tom, Hampshire: Well, this is what happens when Spurs refuse to invest in a decent striker. (comment on BBC Football Live)
Terrible result. Dodgy defence still at it, another game without a goal and the 4th without a win. Lots of pressure on the games coming up and with Arsenal and City away and Southampton at home it's going to be a big ask to turn this around quickly. Rose for me is the only player that comes out with any credit. Well done West Brom, well deserved
WBA deserved their win Spurs looked naive and lacking in guille. Shame we did not see Lennon earlier. We hardly made any chances and it took Poch far too long to change things IMO.
Why the **** did we not buy a striker,we are toothless in front of goal with what we have,we also need someone who can create something,****ing useless
A striker would help, to an extent but we got further with a top manager and two strikers called average (crouch and Defoe) then we did with a OK manager and two top premier league strikers in Keane and Berba. Pochettino just isn't right for us, as I said as soon as we where linked with him so I rather we don't hand him anymore players, unless we sign that top striker Jay Rod.
There were some great balls in, a couple of crosses in the first half that were begging to be put in until Lescott got there first, Lescott again to stopped a throughball getting to Ade and Foster did really well to get to another ball infront of Ade and smother the spill out. Not nearly enough but it was West Brom who stopped us getting any good shots at goal.
Only Lloris and arguably Dier don't deserve to be included in the criticism. The rest were simply appalling. No creativity, no commitment and a defence that the Swiss would admire as a cheese! But we're stuck with this lot for the foreseeable, so God help us in some of the games coming up........
