Clattenberk the referee changed the game with some of the worst refereeing I have ever seen. The guy is quite clearly and ego maniac who thinks he is bigger than the game. Rafael gets absolutely barged off the ball clear foul, he lets the clear foul go, then Rafael gets back up and chases down the player who fouled him doesn't touch him and Clattenberk gives a penalty. I know not many will have sympathy for Man U but, **** me proffessional referees should be better than this idiot. By the way I think Leicester have went into the game thinking **** it we are expected to get beat lets get beat trying to play. FFS they have had 3 or 4 attackers in Man U's penalty area at times on the break never mind 3 or 4 in their half. Leicester just went 4-3 up by being brave with their tactics. Like I said before shy bairns get nowt!
Same bloke pushed Blackett under the ball and then was fouled by him and he sent off Blackett for the foul. I have also seen de laet booked then commit 3 definite bookings and not even be spoken to! 5-3 to the ref!!
Absolutely amazing game, the ref has made some poor decisions but United have been exactly as everyone thought; great going forward but piss poor at the back. Also, while it's been a great performance from Leicester, I find it hard to respect any club whose fans still do the "ha, you're ****!" routine on every opposition goal kick.
when are we going to get a ref like this against the big boys? Or against anyone for that matter.you can tell he's a mag! They're all ****s
Yep mate. Vardy fouled first both times and yep Blacket foul was a penalty, but both should have been first fouls against the cheating Vardy. I'm not deriding leicester mind, they have done well, but Clattenberk has quite clearly got it in for Man U. As I was typing there has just been a tackle from behind as Man U were attacking and Clattenberk ruled it fair. Rooney's blood is up as well luckily only 6 minutes extra time to play otherwise could see him going off.
I dina mate, all for a bit of a laugh but that one's always just annoyed me for some reason. I'm probably just jealous of Leicester to be honest!
Never thought I would see the day a SAFC supporter said that. But I understand what you mean. I honestly believe we have players more than capable of playing that fast attacking football. Like I said in my OP, they went into the game with no fear and just ****ing went for it.
Haha, it's sad that it's come to that, but I reckon fans of a few teams will be feeling the same way! Definitely, I have 100% faith in Gus but I do worry that his approach is becoming overly cautious. We played some of the best football I have seen in years at the end of last season, when the pressure was off and we threw caution to the wind. I think this season's team is more suited to playing that way as well, but I think Gus's lack of confidence in the defence means we're not realising our attacking potential. The "winnable" home games coming up against Stoke and Swansea should give us a better indicator of where we're at in relation to last season.
Pissing myself at Man Ushited's plight. Would pull my cock off if those bastards went down. Long trip back for their home fans all the way back to Surrey. Manure have had it all their own way for years. Now they are taking it, ****ing brilliant. No more Fergie time, lol.
Letting Vidic and Rio go before they had solid replacements was a huge mistake. Be interesting to see how the manager copes from now. Vardy has just been interviewed and has lied through his teeth claiming it was a definite penalty. Ruined his good display for me. Just as an aside a certain poster was talking about whether we know anything about football. I was only ever a clogger with very little skill when I played. Yet when I saw Di Maria look down at the ball before his goal, I knew he was going to chip the keeper.
Well the next game up should tell us where the Champions will come from. My money is on Chelsea rather than Citeh. I think this game could end up pretty niggley and I feel Chelsea may win the battle of niggle. But there are some phenomenal players on show from both sides, so here's hoping for a great game. I reckon 2-1 to Chelski.
Sorry billy but, as much as I grew to dislike United in Moyes time, I can't hack watching games like that after seeing some of the piss poor decisions in our games. Fletcher was dragged 4 yards in a game where the tiniest shirt tug was a penalty against us and Buckley was penalised for being obstructed in a position similar to where we scored from against Spurs. I saw de laet give away 2 or 3 blatant yellow card challenges after his booking and not get spoken to. One lad had all studs showing off the ground and ref deemed it a fair tackle. Cattermole would easily have seen red for 3 of the challenges clattert**t didn't even give fouls for. A level playing field would be nice
