    So Hamilton needs to get a huge advantage very quickly and may have to do some overtaking. Even though the safety car was out for far too long, it could well be the saviour of this race.

    I actually fell asleep sometime after lap 20 and woke up to the safety car. I'll be surprised if I missed much :)

    Hamilton crucially now clear of the Bottas train if there are no problems at his pitstop, but will probably not clear Alonso on current pace.

    Hamilton has a car thats about 3 seconds quicker then anyone. He should be able to overtake a couple of cars with old tryes.

    Crucial: Vettel is falling back towards Ricciardo, whose pace appears to have stabilised.

    Hamilton will probably be just behind Ricciardo.

    PERFECT pitstop from Mercedes.
