Tottenham Hotspur v West Bromwich Albion Match History 1901-2014

Good even game but it's West Brom's poor finishing and excellent defending from Lescott that have kept it 0-0. Not good from our point of view, we know we're not great but we brought pressure on oursleves with some poor passes and losing the ball in our own half. Need Dier and Lamela to build up a better understanding as they're not working together quickly enough. We should be looking to get the ball forward quicker at times anyway but West Brom are giving us a game and deserve credit.

 

at the beginning the commentators said we have the luxury of two teams can we put that second team on in the second half? or are they going to be just as bad as the 'first' team
I have seen nothing to suggest we will do well this season it is the same tedious stuff as avb and Sherwood. and can someone smack demebele round the head and tell him to stop trying to dribble the entire opposition..

Adebayor wasn't great, by any means, but the whole team were poor.
Capoue and Dembele were just about ok and Lloris did his job, but everyone else looked all over the shop.

So poor from us today...wba lack confidence yet deserve to be winning and look far more likely to win than us.

Villas-Boas has won all eight of his league games this season, IIRC. Started last season with good results too, though.
