Dave, you're luckier with the weather than I am - we had a storm last night, so I've woken up to a wet Jersey, although it's not raining now.
We had some heavy storms the night before last with flooding leaving a train full of passengers stuck in the middle of nowhere for four and a half hours!
Good morning from a beautiful sunny morning in Bandit Country. I have some sad news. After a month or so of being very unwell, me dear old father-in-law went into the hospice last week, sadly yesterday morning he passed away vey peacefully with his family around him. A typical Eastender of his generation he was a giant of a man, who I got on with very well and loved dearly. For me, it's the end of that generation and I will miss him a lot. From what I have read and heard from people who went, it was a bad day at the office yesterday, but a least we got back into the game and got a pint out of it.
Sorry to hear your news w_y. Tomorrow it'll be 10 years since I lost my Dad to skin cancer - he was only 57. Mex, if I read this right, it makes it sound like that the law is only this lax in Mexico City if it's being introduced by the mayor. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29278429
Evening all - judging by the amount of catch-up reading there is, no one else has been plagued by their anti-virus software blocking these pages? The demons seem to have been dispelled for now though...
So you're telling me I've been picked on? I was unable to get in at all until yesterday - and even then I'd get kicked off again if I tried to open a thread. Hopefully all is resolved now.

Sorry to read your news w_y. Always seems sad when a generation is gone. Best wishes to the family. Beautiful start to the day as the sun is shining on the mist that is hanging over the Blackmore Vale. Temperature really dropped last night, something I am not used to. It is clear that autumn is more advanced here compared to home. This week is going to be hectic, but fairly static in Dorset until Friday.
