Arguably at fault for both goals today- along with Hull's winner and Man Utd's 4th. He's 36 in a month, and will retire at the end of the season.
Make no mistake- QPR are but a footnote in his next autobiography; he's a Man Utd player through and through. Let's play someone who's part of this club's future, and who can be using these games to improve (rather than to regress).

I saw some sense in playing Ferdinand in a back 3, where he could have youthful support in the shape of Onouha/Caulker on either side of him. But in a CB pairing he's statuesque and embarrassing.

Kunt never should have been brought in in the first place.

Its hard to believe but David Moyes actually got something right last season; Dropping that Donkey from his team.

I agree. It was not his best performance, and he never should have lost the ball in the build-up to Stoke's second.

Different year, different team, different manager, different coach, and yet we still try to pass our way into the net through a mass of defenders who are happy to kick you off the park. Score on the break? I hope I live to see it.

Is there a curse on QPR?

Isla's mistake gifted them the chance, Ferdinand's mistake gifted them the goal. Give Onouha and Caulker, two young English (FFP) centre backs, the chance to form a strong partnership for the coming seasons. Imagine having the same centre back paring for more than 6 months!

Dunne's been called a Donkey for the last 6 months, generally correctly. But he was a quality player before his legs went.

Ferdinand was too but he should have retired 18 months ago. The pair of them are finished mate.

I think he was a good acquisition to the squad, but he shouldn't be keeping Ned out after he has been clearly at fault with three goals already. Southampton is going to be as difficult as Spuds and Manure, so we can't afford mistakes.

Wow, that's pretty unanimous thus far. There was a poll before we signed him with I think the question was would you be happy if we signed Rio, the vote was mainly yes.

Ferdinand was brought in to be the sweeper in the now abandoned 3-5-2 formation, and I could see some sense in that. In a 4-4-2 he is a liability, and he is way too ponderous bringing the ball out. Drop him.

Also having just had a gander the poll had 24 not sure yet votes. You can bet they are also nay now?

Oh well, too late now, if he does not improve then we all will most likely have to grin and bare it for now.

PS, sorry about my poor grammar tonight.

Whilst didn't agree with his signing I can see the logic in a 3-5-2 formation but with 4-4-2 it's the same reason why neither him, Dunne or Hill should be first choice as exposes the other CB & when we're also playing wing backs at full back we're even more exposed.

It had to be Nedum and Caulker at the back. Anyone can see that. Except Harry who will have to admit defeat if he drops rio. And that ain't ever going to happen

I haven't voted as it's too early to say but I feel Ned would have prevented the second goal by getting a foot to it. Rio was way too slow.
