What did I expect? Well it was always going to be difficult I agree but I didn't expect us to play Siggy (who has been average at best today) up front on his own and for us to sit so deep. All very well if you're going to break forward at pace but we didn't. Contrary to what you say it wasn't "working" - we were getting battered for the entire second half. Bony must carry the can for this defeat if that's what it is and it put Monk and the team in a difficult position but Monk's tactics and subs (too little too late) have to be questioned too. Gomis would have tested those tired defenders' legs for sure but was never given the chance. Just an opinion. I've always praised Monk when it's due but he deserves some criticism for today imo.
Could have been a whole lot worse if not for Williams , super , super game by our captain.Certainly not unhappy with the team effort in general.
