We never get time & space at places like Upton Park though, especially against a side managed by Sam Allardyce. His sides always get into the oppositions faces and try to bully them out the game, I don't think Coutinho is the ideal person in midfield for a game like that. I can't see him starting but I hope that if he does he totally proves me wrong!!
I actually don't like said sahko passes as if you had an analysis of the result of said passes it might be interesting How many are badly controlled, laid right back or go nowhere On other words he might drill it but if he's passing to the wrong man that no good IMO right now lfc need to make a call neither sahko nor lovern are better than Skertl. We need to decide the best pair and stick with it. Same as full backs and all. I think our best 5 could have been what we have mates last two/three games but I'm not convinced by it now. I think still defence isn't the prime issue though
Sahko's passing is slow and it looks like it takes astrophysics level brain strain for him to pull it off In fairness though, it almost always gets to the right place. Just slowly and awkwardly.
We paid a lot for both Sakho and Lovren but imo any new signing needs to work his into the team, they need to show why they deserve the position. So far Lovren really hasn't imoressed me and Skrtel did nothing wrong to be dropped so I would have Sakho and Skrtel and see how that goes.
You've clearly not watched him. If anything, his passing is quick and crisp only matched by Gerrard for pace it's fired into players.
Yep If there was a criticism of Sakho's passing, I'd actually say it was too quick. When he zips it to the midfield they usually take 2 touches or one heavy one to bring it under control.
Lovren's our best passer from centreback. Then Skrtel. I don't know if Kolo passes the ball as he doesn't play anymore.
Last season when Sakho was playing his success rate was always in the 90% bracket. He's easily our best CB at passing, trouble is his passes are so fast the reciever sometimes can't control it - like Lucas Talking said. Not sure what his passing stats are this season, but you don't lose that ability overnight
Lovren 88.4% (Not too shabby) http://www.whoscored.com/Players/29106 Sakho 93.6% http://www.whoscored.com/Players/29575 Skrts is 90% Edit: Those are for this season so far (Skrts only had 2 appearances)
Liverpool: Mignolet, Manquillo, Moreno, Lovren, Skrtel, Gerrard, Henderson, Lucas, Sterling, Borini, Balotelli. Liverpool substitutes: Jones, Toure, Enrique, Sakho, Markovic, Lallana, Lambert.
