wondering when you would bring that ****e up. simple, we sold a world class player and needed a champions league squad to cope with European football this season,our budget with him maybe still here would have been £60 mill odd with how poor our bench already was without European football, something you already had by the way!! also a title wining team, and you then add £150 mill or so worth of players to that squad, so bollocks no excuses from you lot, completely dif scenarios.

I can see his point in terms of continually challenging yourself against the best, however over the course of a season the extra games take their toll, both mentally and physically, as players can't operate at their absolute peak for 50+ games
