Bloody foreigners. They kept harping on about this Aye-airton Senner chap in the 80's and 90's. Never heard of the bloke.
Which is, of course, the correct pronunciation. I'm not convinced he was authentically Brazilian though: way too much hair.
They haven't dropped the ban, only the part relating to engine performance, mostly because not all teams are equal in terms of giving that information to the driver, until next year. The part about driving advice being banned still stands and is still a good thing.
I know. Murray started calling him that in 1994 and the British public were up in arms. 3 races later he was dead.
On reflection, I actually don't mind the driving advice. It's quite funny to hear one of the world's top drivers being humbled by his 'lowly' engineer. I'd forgotten that! I remember thinking it was cool at the time though, having only just learned it myself from some Brazilians. I'm such a linguistic pedant though, it still grinds my gears hearing commentators mispronounce Sergio Pérez, Esteban, Pastor, Jules Bianchi etc.
Absolutely zero chance of Kvyat starting anywhere but the pitlane now, looks like he'll get a penalty for blocking Vettel. Things you don't see everyday: Gutierrez a tenth behind 1st place
