.... Do you think they will simply move on and stop whingeing?

They have just bought themselves a licence to blame the English for everything bad that happens for the next 300 years!

At least Scottish football managers and players won't need visas I suppose - and we don't have to change our flag!!!!

I'm glad the Union is still intact, the silent majority have spoken. not just the Gobby Glasgowites, who whilst shouting the loudest for independence are ironically the biggest drain on both our societies. They could do with drinking a little less Buckfast and eating a few less battered Mars bars.

It'll be interesting how the crowds behave at the 'friendly' next month - considering it's being held in Glasgow who actually voted 'yes'.
    Hopefully just banter.

I'm glad they didn't get independence, we would probably recieve a drunken text saying they wanted to come back.

A few years ago, whist visiting relatives in Scotland, we went to Scottish premier game. Dunfermline v Dundee United- Crickey, it made League 2 look good!

I had never heard of the Barnett formula thing - it was supposed to be temporary, but is still used

Basically it's a subsidy that every English tax payer pays to subsidise Scotland

They are lucky anyway, with Spain and Italy fearing the Independant vote would not of voted them into the European Union. They felt that if Scotland got voted into it would lead to Catalonia going independant from Spain and there is a district in Italy that wants to be independant.
So without the European Union they would need their own currency and try and find their way etc.

And at least we get to keep the Union Jack even though there is no Wales in it (Wales was part of England when the Union Jack came out so I was informed) I'm glad it's staying as it is.
