How far does your gratitude to AA go? If he decided we would play in red shirts is that ok? Then change the name to Hull Reds? If he sacked Steve Bruce next week is that ok? We would still be watching premier league football thanks to the Allam's so surely we should be grateful. Is the "cake" premier league football? Why must we all be so bleeding grateful that we have to accept everything he says or does? Why should we be subservient to a man that refuses to deal with the owners of the stadium despite he himself saying it is the best way to make the club self sufficient? Why should we blindly accept the principles of a man who is ready to abandon the club, his manager, and his faithful "silent majority" if he doesn't get his own way?
Because he's a Hull City A.F.C. supporter. Should all the fans who opposed Duffen and Bartlett f** off and watch Sc**thorpe as well? Owners come and go, managers come and go, players come and go. The name Hull City A.F.C. should never go, as it represents the 104-year-old history of the club. Some things are best left unchanged.
allan ben arfa;7091727] so why boo your own fans and rim allams dirty arsehole? In my opinion from all the owners we've had he seems to be the only one who actually seems to care about the club and not just intent on fleecing us like many in the past have What anoyed me about CTWD was the banner fiasco which clearly affected the team and the singing we say no, even though the name change had been rejected
The banner was nothing to do with CTWD The most dispruptive thing I've seen was booing your own fans , after that the atmosphere was ****

I don't know what my own personal limits are to be honest. I've not given it much thought because it's irrelevant. There would be a limit, but for me where we are now is a fair distance off. But if that limit was reached, I would simply not go. Not sure where the word "abandon" comes from. I think most people, if faced with a situation where they can't have what they want would walk away, particularly if it's not something they are passionate about. But even then is every owner who sells a club abandoning it??? A strange way of viewing things.
What makes me laugh is the way fans say chairman managers players come and go which is true of course but i certainly know a few fans in my forty years of following city who seem to come and go and then may be come back again depending on what division we are in
That's true. Our attendance in the Championship was consistently below 20,000, usually around the 18,000 mark. Now we're back in the Premier League, our attendance is consistently above 20,000. It kind of supports my point that some people only care about the Premier League, and not the club or its heritage.
Personal limits on how far they would go are not irrelevant. Many fans have said they don't understand the problem, it's only a name, but would not go if the club played outside the Hull boundary. Personally I don't mind if they play in Melton with red shirts, but if the name changes I will never go again. Perhaps you should put yourself in the position of those of against the name change and see that this is our line in the sand, and the fact we are playing in the premier league is irrelevant. Allam stated in no uncertain terms that he would go if his appeal fails. He gave no thought to the fans who support him, nor to where it might leave Steve Bruce if a buyer comes along next week. He basically said "if I don't get my own way I'm off and you lot can deal with the consequences". He's therefore happy to abandon the club and his supporters.
