    The old Cellar, Folk and Jazz Club was in the basement of large terraced house in Beach Road, South Shields, the new Cellar was closer to the Town Center near the Market Square and was actually on the first floor in a new building.

    Maybe not to your taste but Hendrix and Cream played their in their prime, not bad for such a small venue, speaking volumes for a small family run affair.

    Baz Warne & Angelic Upstarts at the Old 29 & Sham 69 at the City Hall.

    i once seen the macc lads play in newcastle, that was mental..also king kurt in reading, maybe the 2 most mental gigs ever for me.
