    Debuchy done for 6 weeks.

    Massive blow but not unexpected.
Chambers perfect cover but we are threadbare at CB and any other injury issues across that back line before November could be catastrophic, Monreal on a good day looks OK, on a bad day he looks diabolical.
I really hope AW has a plan B....

Is it 6 weeks or is it a minimum of 6 weeks unless he needs further surgery, in which case it's 3 months?

6 weeks if no surgery, 3 months if operated on. So, yeah, 4-6 months it is!

Trickless pony rather than tripless horse perhaps?

English as a second language can be a bugger sometimes :p

    no.

    i mean tripless.

trip is the distance a horse runs at, a horses trip is its preferred/ideal distance.

if a horse is considered tripless it appears to have no preferred/ideal trip

    ie wellbeck

    its a rare occurance

So are you saying that Welbeck can't go the distance?

Or that he can't play any 'trip' or position well?

Or am I just confused? LOL

yeah he doesnt have a position

that was the only way I could think to describe him

he plays up front but hes not a striker, he can play on the wing but hes not a winger, he can play behind the striker but doesnt have the brain to be a natural there

Typical that Debuchy was one of the few players that actually looked decent so far this season..
