OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

If I'd been Don I'd have recruited Astro or Milk first night....or maybe just shot one

Question: If you're the Don or investigator do you choose a convert/target before the lynching or do you do it after? If the first round was dead split votes wise between everyone could the person you choose to convert/shoot/investigate be lynched anyway thus you waste one of your available options?

 

I only said that because we needed to act as a team, something AFC/Bod and Billy weren't willing to do. I questioned why it was one or the other every time the situation arose. The only time I didn't is when Danilo fingered Lucaas. Danilo was either telling the truth or not so made sense then.

 

I would have had 200 less comments if you hadn't been involved as I was taking the piss out of your Bod loving

 

Yeah had to pick prior to 8pm and of your pick got lynched then I couldn't convert/kill them. Was just tough luck.

 

You have choose before nightfall but need to consider the lynching. Don't pick someone at threat as you risk wasting the night.

Why no actions on the first night...?

 

Yeah and it worked fine with us as we had 2 innocents fighting each other with people convinced who ever went and was innocent, the other was guilty.

Few people said it if afc and billy are both innocent then you're ****ed as you had pinned hopes on one being guilty. As I say danilo ruined it by outing Lucaaas lol

 

Confuse you all. Make it seem the don hadn't played before given no action last game lost the game or that he wasn't active. You all assume the latter and it worked perfectly getting rid of magic who conveniently was vigilante (although he's have killed sky which would have been handy) Don't want to blow my own trumpet but day one couldn't have worked better

 

I did keep pointing out that neither side had a reason for voting for the other, it was vengeance voting. With the stage the game was at, we couldn't afford to go into the next round with them disagreeing so much still. the final vote proves that with Billy being the only innocent to vote for Milk

 

Hence why spreading the bets the first night is (potentially) an even better option then? Mafia a bit more reluctant to take action as potential to waste a hit/conversion.

Before lucaaas got outed I also offered to change my vote from billy and go after him later in the game. Astro responded that he wouldn't be happy if billy wasnt in the tie, to which I replied, hmm I'll have to have a think. Didn't want to give anything away but at that point Astro was firmly in my suspicions. He had made no inclination of believing my theory but for unknown reasons wanted billy in the coin toss. started to doubt myself on billy at that point but still suspected him.

 

Good point. Problem is, we've not stuck to the plan for two games running now so who is going to suspect mafia if it happens again?

I should have stuck with my early suspicions on Astro though.

Also should have trusted my psychic powers too

 

Did I vote for Milk? I forget now, thought I'd voted AFC

 

I couldn't help thinking that it would have been the biggest fail of all time had AFC or Bod been mafia. Also laughed at how trusted I became, would have been funny if I was mafia too.

Take this,” Astro said, handing the Thompson submachine gun to me as he swung the door open, stepping out of the armored Cadillac car. The streets were quiet as I stepped out myself, using the night as cover. I had held guns identical to this in the past, but this time it felt oddly different. It felt colder…heavier.

I didn’t dare to speak. Only an insane girl would talk in the alleys of this city. Talking meant you were a target. Being a target meant you were mafia and this town really didn’t take to the family. Being identified holding items like the Tommy meant you weren’t going to be alive for long. Sure, I held a weapon of choice, but it was dark. It would have been easy for someone to sneak up from behind and kill us all.
I straightened my hat and pulled the gun closer to me, then followed Astro down the road. I wasn’t a rookie, of course. I’d made arrangements with other charters from the family before. But this night, we were running for our lives.

I was a mafia moll and proud of it. I didn't pick the name minxy for us any reason, my only regret was not taking out gerrez before we had to get the hell out! Astro was going to drive, I was merely there for the ride. My godfather — his father — was still on the gallows. We would be getting back to Chicago and claiming the territory from him before the rest of the family…or one of the rival families…took their chance. Violence could be avoided, and more importantly our family could continue.

We move quickly, and finally make it to the correct building. The Godfather had lived inside — protected by guards. The last week had been terrifyingly cruel to him, and several assassination attempts had been made against him. But now, he was hanging in the main square and there was nothing more to be said.

Our dirty cop Danilo met us, though fat lot of good he’d done us in the end. Once that pig fingered Our own crew paying him off didn’t do us any good, the jig was up.

And s the last 3 mafia beat a speedy retreat out of town leaving Knosuj Place to return to being just a small hick town filly with.... a bunch of murderous townsfolk ready to kill anyone who came their way!
