I assigned the roles randomly using many balls of paper... FA Cup style

But, I'm fine with people getting DMW

 

Do you have to update your table everytime we nominate someone?

 

I'll mostly post new tables, so people don't have to keep finding a specific page to see how the voting is going, and I'll try and keep it as up to date as I can... The last hour on saturday I'll keep it like a live thing though.

 

And we can change our vote as often we like?

You can claim to be a certain character, form alliances (on this thread, unless you're KGB, in which case you can also PM to co-ordinate your moves) as well etc etc

Only thing that's irreversible nomination wise, is if you have a power and choose a player to use that power on. You can't change your mind once you've selected someone and sent me a PM.

 

Still not sure I get it. Hopefully I'll understand when I finally get a pm with the instructions.

So things that will occur on Saturday night at 9pm:

1. Whomever has accrued the most public votes will be eliminated. The player eliminated may send me a PM damning those responsible for his demise, and so long as it doesn't reveal anything important to the remaining contestants, I will add it to the newspaper report of the death. HOWEVER... If the person with the most number of votes is reported as escaping, then either Lyalin will have nominated that person to protect, or else Burgess has protected Philby. Players will not be informed which. That doesn't stop Lyalin revealing himself, but nor does it prevent someone claiming to be Lyalin.
2. Philby must wait til the next round to use a power, so cannot choose to convert or kill off another player before Sunday 9pm.
3. Gordeivsky may choose to start killing (PM me with nomination). He has two kills in the entirety of this game, and each kill must be separated by at least one night. In the event he picks Philby, he will lose a kill if Burgess is still active in the game, as Burgess blocks one assassination attempt on Philby. If Burgess has already blocked Philby's death and Gordievsky attempts to assassinate him, it will be successful.
4. Macleod can send me a PM with a one player nomination. In the event an MI6 agent has nominated that particular person to investigate, the MI6 agent will be given false information by me.
5. The MI6 agents/Anthony Blunt + Ethel Gee will receive information on one person each they PM me wishing to investigate. Obviously, if you're an MI6 agent, you're independent here, you can't co-ordinate your investigations, so you may well pick the same people to investigate. The KGB can work together to root out targets, however.
