FAO Hesfords heros Apologies mate...that Delbert McLinton track was meant to be a response to Ellewoods, not yourself....
Yea I figured that Party who I think started this thread might like a new genre as opposed to just a new band or two. Brown Bird is a good place to start. If you are going to get into something might as well start from a small indie band. I think the lead singer the one with the beard in the photo is getting over some sort of cancer, they have been trying to raise money for his treatment so I dont think they are touring or making new music right now. I am friends with them on facebook and they are always doing updates.
They are great - a real grower. One of my favourite bands at the moment. You can't beat a bit of London Grammar either - well worth a listen.
Aha, Surrey B.C.....last time I was there (football tournament) it was Biker territory... Hell's Angels chapter frequented a bar next to the hotel/motel we all stayed in. Had a great time. Music was the main topic of conversation.
GGrrr....well jell!...my birthplace u talk about so freely yet seems a million miles away to me!....always cheered for canada even though been this shthole most my life
