I agree, something the Allam family could learn from. Even though they have been here a long time, they still don't full understand the basic mentality of how certain things are done here.

Yes. We have Remembrance Day to remember all the brave soldiers that did so much for us in the war.

So too should Hull City have 19:04 to remember CTWD and the Sterling job they did in saving our great name and heritage from a monster.

And I was suggesting that you should disband...

Poor judgement on my behalf. CTWD should definitely be a Supporters Trust.

It's a measure of those statements that they get the point over and still manage to get almost universal praise for them. That's one hell of an achievement.

As corporal Jones would say they don't like it up um !!
If you keep singing CTWD at 19.04 it will always be seen as a protest against the Allam's and I for one will continue to boo

Then we'll sing louder, and drown out the boos.

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

We will win, and Allam will lose.

Nor is City Til I Die.

    Then you're a **** fan <ok>

Cos no ****er'd sing it. A few desperate individuals dotted about can be heard more clearly by booing.

    A credit to CTWD. <ok>

    Excellent observation.

Can you use your years of business experience to bring the owners into the fold, show them how to enjoy success in victory, just as the City Till We Die group have done?

Sometimes things are transient, they can change when the job is done and the mission accomplished, but then will come more unrest and some will rise to oppose it and some . . .

I don't think anyone should wish to change the way you see things or how you decide to react to them; personally I'm simply grateful I would be very unlikely to sit next to you, as I have a thing about scrotes. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Did the club make a statement about the booing ? or only the one in the Hull Daily Mail about the FA appeal.

Not a bad statement, as ever.

Shame there was no call to stop singing "We say no".

Also a shame that CTWD supporters and people encouraged to think they're supporting CTWD (but won't pay the 2 quid) don't and won't display the same level of respect as the statement.

Yeah, I know its not all CTWD members before anyone points that out, and sure, CTWD can't control what people do, but they do do it because of CTWD.

In any case, I think the weekend is going to be about a lot lot more than us, especially if we score. Might hear the loudest ever "Steve Bruce!" ever too.

Excellent post OLM. City till we die is a song that I have sung home and away for 15 years or more.
However, correct me if I'm wrong but I am hearing less of the C I T Y, The Tigers chant. Is this chant now seen as supporting the name change. I hope not because it was always a great chant.

    No.

I've heard it recently, as you say it's not as common as it used to be but I don't think it's anything to do with the name change stuff. It's just less popular amongst the more recent chants. They come and go.
