Some people won't be told. I've a feeling that, even if only for a wind-up, the booing will continue if the 19:04 song continues.
I can find fault with it. It fails to mention or accept that some of our fans are not happy. It tries to claim that the CTWD song is just another hull city song. This is currently not the case, while it is still being sung at 1904 it is a protest song. It is usually backed up with 'we say no Allam'. I would have liked a plea to stop the (no longer needed) protest at 1904 and replace it with a chant to unite the fans.
"We Are Hull City" as a substitute on 19.04 would be fully supportive, and is hardly 'arguable' by any 'type' of city follower.
An excellent statement in my view. I've been impressed with all the statements, and in particular how they avoid name calling or getting dragged into confrontational dispute.
Can someone on here from CTWD answer this: if the campaign is over as highighted above why is the webpage still notohulltigers? This is a genuine question (which I know will get slated) as the non CTWD supporters will see this as being more 'talk' from CTWD
I am glad that there was booing, CTWD aren't having it all their own way! If CTWD hadn't pinched that song to use as an anthem, it wouldn't have been booed, would it? It seems to me that they have ruined that song for everyone and now it cant be sung without the silent majority expressing their view more vocally.
Instead of titting about introducing each stand before the game Steve Jordan should belt out War by Edwin Star. War, uh !! What is good for? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. One thousand, nine hundred and four peace pipes should then be lit and passed around the ground. I'll E mail the club.
Excellent as always, they're the example to follow for everyone. Also good to see someone like Canada seeing it for what it is and not just looking for something to moan at in there.
The website was supposed to be replaced two months ago, but technical difficulties have delayed the new website from going live, it should finally go up this weekend. The domain name is citytillwedie.com, but the old site still automatically puts a notohulltigers address on all statements. We also have an issue with the Twitter account, as it's taking forever to get it switched from @NoToHullTigers, but we'll sort it as soon as we can.
It looks like CTWD have cleared the air and given an honourable and professional statement. Ironic really.
Good statement....cant we all clap in unison next time @19:04 instead as a way of showing were all friends again?
