If we are all classed as customers there is no need for segregation in the stadiums. Do away with the stewards and the police and spend the cash saved on reducing ticket prices for these customers.

Yeah but the thing is we are fans! I look forward to seeming them play I always have done! So if I stopped going I'd be cutting my nose etc. sport is the only business where owners can get away with treating the people with contempt!

In my experience, it's only ever new customers who are treated well, and quite often in fact love-bombed.

Beyond a certain point in time, you're then taken for granted.

The Hull Tigers fans should enjoy these moments now, as it won't be far down the line that you're the target of complacency/disdain too.

He doesn't really love you, he isn't really on your side, he's using you to achieve a personal objective.

His next objective could see you getting bitten. Nip it in the bud now.

I don't want to come over as a "real fan" type. But iv'e been going to city for forty years, and i have fond memories of all of those years. None more so than the ones between the "great escape" season to now.Well maybe not the now,as events have sadly sullied the whole experience.

There have been chapters of this wonderful story, that move me to describe myself as a fan. None more so than when attending meetings of the Tigers co-op, in the hope of having even the slightest affect in stopping the closure of my beloved Hull city afc, by dipping into my overdraft, to get fifty quid,so i could pay for myself and two others to join the co-op. It was £15 to join, i filled in the forms, handed over the money "keep the change".

Chucking every spare money i had, into buckets and blankets at Boothferry park. Turning up pre season, with other fans to help give the place a new lick of paint,(god it needed it). Just going to games and vocally supporting the teams efforts.

All of these things have made me feel i have helped to build the success the club now enjoys. At least to help keep us going, until sugar daddy came, and f** it, i feel proud about that.

Now i'm a proud member of CTWD, because i love our history, our heritage.

Go ahead and boo me though, you hairy palmed window licking ******s <ok>

Who are the Hull Tigers fans? Do they really exist?

This isn't me but is someone who has supported/followed Hull for 10/20/30 years and is grateful for the current 'good times' a fan or a customer? Is the opionion of a customer of 30 years more or less important than a fan of 3 years?

I'm still not sure whether those that booed are pro name change/pro AA or just not in favour of CTWD?

There is no hull tiger fans, there's the people that think it's just a bloody name and those that think they are a greater supporter than everybody else that label themselves CTWD. .....the boos were because fans who are on the fence think people who are so against the name change, are damaging the club! If CTWD care so much about tradition, I'm not sure why they don't shut there mouth, and enjoy watching a team that has been built through tradition, I've watched hull for years at boothferry park and so has the majority of my family! we've always wanted hull to work there way up to the premier league and I can't believe the so called traditionalists wouldn't mind that jeapordisig that over a name! yeah the name changes, but for god sake it's a name! Get a grip! Seriously! Call it city, hull or the tigers! ....I won't say allam isn't been like a big kid, but CTWD are just the same! ....the tradition is in the club,it's colours and it's fans, not its name or the venue it plays in!

    Fact.

The only fact, is that you obviously haven't read the CTWD statement, the campaign ended in April.

There's also the fact he has the same level of intelligence, the same views, makes the same spelling mistakes, has similar childlike punctuation skills & composes his posts in the same manner as around 20 other "newbies" who have registered since HullCity AFC (Thudds) was banned. Funnily enough they too have similar posting styles as the 20ish "newbies".

Where is Thudds (HullCity AFC) by the way? He's not posted for a few days, he must be busy doing something else. It's a good job these other posters have filled the gap & increased their post count since he stopped posting.

    All's good.

    Sigh...

How are CTWD acting the same as Allam? Do explain.

How is not wanting to change the name jeopardising the club?

Isn't booing about the best thing someone wanting to jeopardise can do?

It's no one's fault but your own that you don't understand what's happening.

I'm a supporter. I go to the games and support my club by chanting and singing. A "fan" is someone who follows the club, but doesn't necessarily support it. People from Hull who claim they 'support' clubs like Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City but never go to the games are "fans", and not supporters.

Being both a "fan" and a "customer" makes you a supporter.
