The same story is on the BBC. If OGS hasn't been sacked yet, this looks bad on Tan to be touting the job to an 'as yet' unvacated post.
The fact that it hasn't been announced yet doesn't mean a thing - Ole has gone and the paperwork kings are doing the necessary severance documentation. Hartly was never offered the job and has therefore not turned down an offer as is being reported, the club only sought permission to talk to him. Another opportunity to have a go at Tan surfaces.
Yeah, it's being reported on SSN now. I'm not bashing Tan. Just looked like he'd offered the job to Hartley because the BBC story said that Hartley turned it down.
I read the story also. To be honest it looks as if it was cobbled up by a part time reporter from the Argus. Once again CHIP PAPER.
Hartley to remain at Dundee yes he said i would rather have a secure job making jam than joining cardiff making ****..
Dai - nothing to do with the jam mate, he just enjoys the fishing up there..............
Sparky it may be, But an honest question. Does it worry you at all that the managers you want as fans and who you think would fit yur club, would be put off by Tan?
i said this on another thread, but i highly doubt he was 'offered the job'. he was probably invited, along with other managers, to discuss the role. that is not the same as being offered the job. he obviously said he has to make it look as if he's being loyal to his current club, but i think the club will be sounding out a few managers. anyway, i'm glad, we'll get someone better than this chump
